How Same-Day Crowns Works
CEREC same-day crowns are changing the game when it comes to patients receiving tooth-colored crowns. The traditional crown procedure requires you coming for an appointment, the dentist preparing your tooth and fitting you with a temporary restoration, sending you home until they get your crown from an outside dental lab, and bringing you back to fit the permanent dental crown. All in all, this means a couple of visits and weeks to complete the whole treatment.
With same-day crowns, we use our in-house CEREC machine to design and mill your crown on the spot. Then, we can place it on your tooth in that same visit and make any necessary adjustments immediately. Everything is done in house, saving you time.
